The Minnesota Environmental Partnership (MEP) is a statewide coalition of environmental and conservation nonprofits. Together, their coalition members and supporters work for clean energy, clean water, and investments in Minnesota’s great outdoors through policy initiatives, public education, and community events. Their coalition makes a difference for Minnesota. In 2011, MEP was named the #1 high-impact environmental nonprofit in Minnesota by more than 175 local experts.

Innocence Project of Minnesota
They work to free the wrongfully convicted and prevent future wrongful convictions from occurring. Since its inception in 2001, the Innocence Project of Minnesota has represented people who were wrongfully convicted for crimes they did not commit. They also educate attorneys and criminal justice professionals on best practices, and work to reform the criminal justice system to prevent wrongful convictions and other unjust results in criminal cases.

Safe Hands Animal Rescue
Safe Hands Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. Of great importance to them is to reduce the stray population and need for healthy animal euthanasia through spay/neuter programs, education, and promotion of respect for the furry creatures that share our lives.

Children’s Heartlink
Children’s HeartLink trains and mentors medical teams in underserved parts of the world to diagnose and treat children with heart disease. They believe this is the best way to make a lasting impact in parts of the world where there are so many children with heart disease and so few pediatric cardiac specialists. Founded in 1969, Children's Hospital currently supports partner hospitals in Brazil, China, India, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Their mission is to empower those who have lost a limb to move forward, take action and get back to the life they want. Wiggle Your Toes shows amputees how to deal with the changes that come along with a life-changing event like limb loss. They are here to help you get back to the life you want. Here you’ll find the practical answers, tips and solutions to taking action and moving forward with confidence. Because they’ve been down the road you’re on, and they’re here to show you the way.

Boys and Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Star enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. They serve over 12,000 youth at 8 Twin Cities locations. The Clubs represent more than 80 years of service to youth. Dedicated staff at eight metro-area locations and a rural camp provide activities and support to more than 12,000 young people from kindergarten through high school graduation. Club sites are placed in targeted neighborhoods where the need is greatest.
